LIQUID CONTACT ADHESIVES
Contact adhesives are used for strong bonds with high shear resistance like laminates. Natural rubber and neoprene are commonly used contact adhesives. Contact adhesives work by applying the adhesive to both surfaces and allowing some time to dry before the two surfaces are pushed together. There is an expansive offering of contact adhesives available based on each specific application. Our most commonly used line of contact adhesives are the 3M 1300, 1357, 4799, and 847. Available in tubes, quarts, and 5-gallon pails.
